Mathaji'S Words Of Benediction

The life of Nanna is mysterious. His loving nature is such that he has been yearning for the love of 'Mother' since childhood. Starting from his birth mother he regarded the love of every woman as Divine Mother's love and reveled in the love of her motherhood like a child. Yet more than the motherly love in this world, he always yearned for obtaining the love of the Mother in the heavenly abode and the fortune of being Her constant companion. In his childhood, he served his grandmother and the village Goddess 'Maridamma' with maternal devotion. Although he was initiated and repeated the Gayatri Mantra, Sivapanchakshari, Kamagayatri, he could not experience the ecstatic bhav of the Supreme Sri Radha. Even in the paths laid by Radha Soami and Haranath Baba, he could not feel Radha's love. Finally he decided that none of these paths are suitable for him. He was convinced that Mother would certainly assuage his yearning some day.

In 1951-52 Nanna announced "A great Yogin is about to enter my life. With her arrival, my life will experience a great turning point." As planned by Mother, Chayanam Hanumayamma garu ( Radha Mahalakshmi Amma) came to Nanna. By this time Nanna was already a 'Purna siddha purusha' (Fully Realised One). As instruments of Mother, they both performed several activities for the welfare of mankind. Using Radha Mahalakshmi Amma as a medium, Nanna used to converse with the goddess Radha Mahalakshmi Devi, the 'UpaRadha'.

During 1982-83 Nanna was constantly in a state of meditation. He used to suffer with burning sensation in his eyes and body and also from fever. When asked about the reason for this suffering, he replied, "The penance by my soul for the love of Supreme Mother has become more intense. The severity of that dhyana would cause some suffering to the body." During that period Nanna composed many songs depicting sakhi bhav. After the demise of Hanumayamma garu, many extra ordinary incidents occurred such as Sri Radha herself giving darshan to Nanna and asking him to adorn Her! Gradually Nanna experienced the depths of Sakhi bhav and became 'Radha Sakhi'.

"Mother, let there be no worldly related epithets between you (Radha) and me (Sakhi), not even 'priya' " I prayed to Mother. She consented and made me Radha Sakhi " . Radha sakhi has powers which are almost equal to those of the Mother.

On August 16 2003, although Nanna's soul left the physical body, several devotees who were meditating near his body experienced the 'touch' of bhav vibrations emanating from his mortal form. These vibrations permeated the atmosphere as waves of happiness and gave solace to many a grieving heart. It is quite natural that the body of the Rasika Mahatma who devoted his entire life to Supreme Mother will be equally powerful and sweet in any condition.

This book and Website is an attempt to bring to light a little about Radha sakhi. What and how much can be said about Nanna , the Rasika Siromani , who reached the highest stage of Love! How much ever said is but a little bit! What remains is infinite! Nanna's favorite devotee Rasamani has made an attempt to describe a little about that fathomless ocean of Rasa. Much more is still to be said. I hope that the desire of the authoress that more volumes should follow with the grace of Nanna be fulfilled. May everybody receive the blessings of loving Nanna.
