The Goddess whose feet Lord Krishna himself decorates with color; who is well versed in all arts and whom the gopikas serve; the Supreme who secretly glows in the heart of the Vedas; my place is near the feet of that Radha.

-Sri Radharasa Madhuri 205

Radha is the Goddess whom Lord Krishna worships. She is the glow of rasa in the Vedas. Nanna taught us that She is the deity on whom we must do dhyana. He said that in dhyana only two must be present, you and your deity. There is no room for a third person in dhyana. He often gave the example of Badari Narayana's dhyana.

'Nanna, you said that in our dhyana only RadhaRani and we exist, no third person. But you are the Guru who told us about Her. Then how can we do dhyana without thinking of you?'

" You are thinking of Mother and Her sakhi as different identities."

Ah. By this great sentence Nanna made it clear that there is no difference between Sri Radha and Her sakhi who is the attribute of Her sweet love. If we think of Nanna in our dhyana, it means we are thinking of Mother. Dhyana on Nanna is equal to dhyana on Mother.

We missed many folds of matter spoken by Nanna than what is included in these volumes of 'Nanna tho'. Every sentence uttered by him is full of rasa. However not being able to record some speeches, forgetting some; due to our ignorance and casual approach and also due to the mistaken feeling that 'he is our Nanna; only who is giving a routine talk'; we missed many valuable words of wisdom. It is a loss that can never be repaired. Only by Nanna's grace, and not by our effort, we were able to gather at least a little of he spoke.

Many topics on rasa spoken by Nanna are recorded in the cassettes. As he spoke, he would suddenly include a phrase or a sentence in between his speech. While listening to his speech, we never paid attention to these words because they are not related to the speech and not in continuation to any sentence. When we listen to the cassettes now, we can realize how he lovingly gave us such invaluable gems in the midst of his speeches. With his blessings, I am including these gems in this volume. Some of them are 'Radhikananda' and 'Avyaya jeevava'. Sri Radhamahalakshmidevi, the Uparadha declared that whatever happens in the presence of Radhasakhi (Nanna) is a part of Her leela.

One day a political leader came to meet Nanna. He explained the splendor of Sri Radha's love and rasa. Then he asked Nanna 'thousands of people attend our meeting. Why are so few people present here'? Nanna calmly replied 'the market place is crowded with people but you find only a handful in the jewelry shop.' That man silently left the place.

In the song 'Dhanyanaitini Devi Radharo', he wrote that it is your pious vow to help the needy human beings. Speaking about this song he said 'What is the use of helping the good ones? The people who forgot their original form need to be reformed. That is Radhaji's aim.' Radhasakhi came to this world to implement this pious vow. Though he is constantly in the bliss of Sri Radha dhyana, he forcibly maintained contact with the world. He admitted this fact once. In another song 'Sringara seemantivi.', he wrote that 'I am not alone. I retained some contacts.' Even while reading out the script of the volumes of Brindavaneswari Sri Radhadevi, Nanna was constantly in a state of bhava and devouring rasa. He would come out of his state by force and respond to us.

When the rasikacharyas told something, the devotees would immediately make a note. The Mahatmas would clarify any doubts raised by the devotees. The words of the rasika mahatmas of Brindavan are generally precise. Our Nanna is an extra ordinary rasikacharya. Whoever approached him with interest, he would explain in detail about Sri Radha rasa tattwa, Her eagerness to bestow Her grace and the divine path of dhyana to reach Her. He gave lectures on dhyana yoga for several years. Though we don't express our doubts, Nanna always knew them. Strangely, he would ask the question himself and provide the answer.

Sekhar, Malathi and Sriranga (Nanna's devotees) are an integral part of these volumes of 'Nanna Tho'. I quoted a few verses from Malathi's Sri Radharasamadhuri and a verse Sri Radha - sakhi Rasamadhuri. Nanna blessed Sudhakar with the opportunity to print this book. I pray to grant them the experience of sakhi bhava. It is my duty to remember Ramakrishna who arranged for printing the first two volumes of this book.

Nanna told us how strong and permanent the divine bond of love with Mother is than these worldly bonds. Even the responsibility of a husband towards the wife and the wife towards her husband is limited. We must serve the family and do our duty. But when dhyana fructifies and we have the fortune of Her call, then no more bonds exist. The whole world comes only after Mother. This is the divine message the Rasaguru gave to this world.

I wish I was a speck of sand in Brindavan for the touch of your holy feet; I wish I was the darkness of Yamuna and the kajal of your eyes; I wish I was a flower on the banks of the rasa lake and adorn your hair. I wish to serve you in different ways. Radhasakhi, please grant me the fortune to serve my Swamini intimately.

Always at the holy feet of Radhasakhi, Rasamani
