Guntur ashram, 2001
We always celebrated Ugadi, the telugu new year festival with splendour in the presence of Radhasakhi. We would offer prayers to Sri Radha with roses in the morning and jasmines in the evening. After our prayers to Radhasakhi, it would be followed by a divine message.
"He Kishori he Radhe epudu vrasadevo nadu
Prema hridaya palaka paina needu namamu"
In this song, Nanna prayed to Sri Radha that Her name should be etched in his heart. In 1994 a devotee (Suseela) had a divine vision in her dhyana. 'Nanna was seated in a sleeping chair and she came running to him. Nanna's form appeared as if one half was male and the other half was a little girl. On the side where the little girl was seen, the letters Radhe were glittering brightly.' In that bhava she bought a saree and placed it at his feet in Guntur ashram. In a state of a bhava she was uttering 'Bhava roopini'.
Since then on every Ugadi day, Nanna granted us the fortune of offering our prayers to Radha Rani as well Radhasakhi with flowers.
Immersed in Radha bhava, Nanna gave his divine message:
"
Lord Krishna was about to relinquish his mortal frame in a very short time. One day he came near the Pandavas. The four year old Parikshit was also present. The boy was in the habit of observing everyone very keenly. Everbody wondered about this habit. Actually when he was in his mother's womb, Ashwathama used his powers to create a missile in his mother's (Uttara's) womb. Due to these powers which are as effective as hydrogen bomb, her womb was on fire. Her womb was burning and she was weeping piteously. Just then Krishna was about to go somewhere. Everyone approached him and prayed to put her out of danger. He agreed to come and sent them back. He sat down in the chariot and accomplished his task from there itself. He became miniscule in size and entered her womb. That tiny form had four shoulders. The yet unborn child Parikshit saw this four shouldered miniature form of Krishna in his Mother's womb. After his birth, he was constantly searching for him whom he had but once seen and lost all the heat and even felt cold. It is because of this habit of searching that he was named Parikshit which literally means observing intently.

During that time when Krishna and Pandavas were together, one person was selling locks. Yudhishtira was furious and said 'bring that peddler here immediately. If you need a lock it means that there are thieves. Does it mean that we must secure our money in safe deposit chests? Only then we will need locks. Send him to prison. We don't need any locks.' Listen carefully to what Krishna said. 'There is indeed no need for locks at present. Very soon, Kaliyuga is about to commence. Then locks will certainly be needed. In Kaliyuga, all sorts of devious traits like theft, deceit and dishonesty will surface. In that unscrupulous environment, locks will definitely be needed. That day is not far away.'
"
"
The very moment that Krishna disappeared from earth, Kaliyuga began and all atrocities and sins came into existence.
"
"
Our worship on earth seems to be like that only. So many Gods! My favorite is ... and mine is ... In this way a large fragmentation took place. Only towards the end, the devotee gains knowledge and attains true devotion. The devotee is able to sustain only due to the knowledge gained after several births. Probably the deity of worship in the previous birth was different from this birth. Once you gain complete knowledge you will realize who the deity is! My deity is none other than Krishna who is all pervading. I don't want lesser Gods who are fragments of the Lord. My deity is one who is everywhere. 'Bahunam jamanam te.' That Vasudeva who is filled in all the 14 worlds is my deity.
"
"
Narada mentioned about this deity to Prahalad when he was in his mother's womb. When Prahlada's mother came to his ashram, Narada spoke to the boy in the womb. 'I will tell you about the deity who you must worship'. 'Narada, please tell me who he is and how he looks' the boy responded from within. Narada replied 'Vasudeva sarvamiti'. Ah what a meaningful sentence! One should worship only the all pervading Vasudeva. He who worships Vasudeva only is a mahatma. There is no such term for the one who worships any other God. It is Krishna himself who gave this great title to his devotees. .Sa mahatma sudurlabhaha. Such a mahatma is rarely found. One cannot become a mahatma merely by growing a beard. It is such a difficult state to attain. Such mahatmas who worship Krishna unwaveringly are very few.
"
"
'Ekam sat viprah bahudha vadanthi - the learned scholars, elders and sages have fragmented this truth into thousands of pieces. Each fragment is a God who is as powerful as the other. By associating each God with a name and form, we ourselves have restricted the magnitude of his greatness. We ought not to describe and eulogies the fragmented Gods. Undoubtedly, each God is great but it is a pity that people are fighting in the name of these Gods, particularly in South India.
"
Nanna explained how the devotees of Shiva and Vishnu fought against each other in Sivakasi.
"
So many times, they fought wars in the name of god. This is due to restricted thinking. This is not correct. Krishna clearly told us who should be our deity and how that deity should be! That is our perfect explanation. I never heard a commentary more precise than that. Many scholars wrote commentaries on the Gita but the comments by Vasudeva are found nowhere. 'Vasudeva...' He is a mahatma who accepts the all pervading Vasudeva. Such mahatmas are rarely found in this world. Narada asked the lithe boy Prahlada whether he heard everything. When he said 'yes' Narada asked who would be his deity of worship. Prahlada replied 'I will worship the omni present and all pervading Vasudeva. My deity is not small or finite. My deity is filled everywhere, in the whole universe. Now I realized this truth.'
"
"
When Prahlada was about seven years old, his father Hiranyakasapa demanded 'You are always chanting the name of Hari. .Who is that Hari? Where is he?'
"
"
Prahlada smile and replied 'Do you want to know who my God is and where he can be found? There is no doubt that he here, there and everywhere. He is omni present. You can find him wherever you look for him. My Lord Hari is not confined to a limited place. He is not so easily attainable. He is present everywhere.'
"
"
'Is he here? '
"
"
'Yes, he is here.'
"
"
'Is he in this pillar?'
"
"
'Yes. He is present in tree, tiger and snake also. He is my Master. How can you catch him? It is not so easy. Will the Lord die? Can you kill him?'
"
"
Saying this Prahlada began to weep.
"
Nanna could not continue further as he became so immersed in that bhava.
Nanna initially granted Radha's name and then Radha mantra to those who approached him and told them to do dhyana. As you approach higher meditation, name, form and mantra (though they are related to Radhaji) should be given up. Nanna insisted that we must do dhyana only on the all pervading personification of silence, the effulgence of rasa which is beyond name, form and gunas.
Nanna's intention is not to preach the truth that God is all pervading to some limited devotees. The prime intention of Sri Radhasakhi who descended on earth as Nanna is to ensure that the truth of God's all pervading nature reaches out to all human beings. That is why he came as our Rasaguru and gave this divine message. He made it clear that we must not restrict our prayers to smaller Gods to fulfill our little desires.
Instead we must aim to regain our lost status as being a part of God. This is possible only through incessant meditation on the all pervading tattwa of God. He elicited the secret of God's tattwa embedded in Prahlada's words. Nanna once said 'Prahlada is not only a devotee but full of bhava too. One who narrates the Bhagawata should highlight this secret. If we recall the reply which Prahlada gave his father in the state of bhava, we can understand why Nanna often cited this example.
"
Kaliuga has begun. We are unable to accept the vastness of God. We are satisfied to limit God's existence and confine his stature. Our minds also became limited. There is a need for us to think and analyse the facts.
"
"
Mother told me 'My form is infinite and limitless. Our relationship is eternal. Never forget these two points.'
"
"
By this She is telling us that Her form is infinite and the relationship we have with Her is eternal. It is not for some 5 or 10 years or one life. Even after living many lives and being in her service, we will not be satisfied. We can never be satisfied even after living in Her thoughts for any number of lives. That is why I say that my Supreme Goddess, my deity has no name and form. Once She is defined by name and form, She becomes finite and limited. By giving a name, we are confining the infinite God. Only the finite can be named, not the infinite!
"
"
'The infinity belongs to me. Love me as infinite. Think of me as infinite. You cannot see me but I will show you My divine leelas and actions. How wonderful! Such happiness! He is not seen but his leelas can be seen. So that is his appearance. We do not have the power to see him. Our eyes are small and our mind is restricted. How can we see him? That is why Mother says 'My child, don't make any effort to see me. You cannot see me directly. You can see me only through my leelas'. How wonderful.
"
"
Let me tell you about this room. I was writing the third volume of the book 'Brindavaneswari Sri Radhadevi' with total concentration. I was determined to complete the book that night. My life is not precious to me. She is precious to me; not this world. Then Radhaji enters the scene. She could not bear the heat here. She cannot be seen. Who converted this room into AC? The person who caused this to happen is only an instrument in Her hands. I don't agree that he is the real executer. Man is only an instrument, not independent. Only Mother is totally independent.
"
At the beginning of his message, Nanna said while speaking about Krishna's demise that the moment Krishna leaves, Kaliyuga will begin and all bad habits, dacoits, hypocrisy and sins will surface. He also said that our devotion is also like that. We are in the habit of praying to smaller Gods. He says that it is a sin to worship smaller fragments of God instead of his all pervading tattwa. How can it be a sin? This kind of worship cannot help him to regain his original form and shine as a part of God. He is also descending further and committing more sins. Nanna said 'this is not Krishna's will. He did not agree with this practice. Thinking of small things is not correct. That is not the way of sadhana.'
While proclaiming the divine truth that our true relationship with the infinite Radhaji is eternal, Nanna gave the message that in this kaliyuga, when dharma is not practiced in the right spirit, only incessant dhyana on Sri Radha can lead us towards rasa. The Rasaguru said that our devotion is restricted and our Gods are restricted. What does this mean? He is telling us that it is a sin to worship the infinite, all pervading tattwa of God in fragments as different Gods. This kind of worship cannot help him to regain his original form and shine as a part of God. Instead he will demean himself and descend to a lower level and commit more sins. That's why Nanna said this is not Krishna's will. He did not agree with this practice. It is wrong to worship smaller Gods.
Our Rasaguru's message is clear. While declaring the divine truth that our relationship with Radhaji is eternal, he stated that in this kaliyuga where dharma is not practiced in the right way, only incessant dhyana on Sri Radha can lead us to Her dham. The totally independent, all pervading, formless and infinite Rasa Swamini, Sri Radha is the Goddess of worship for the devotees. Rasaguru said 'this is my message to the world.'

Sri Radhasakhi converts man into rasika devouring rasa. She is the Rasaguru striving for welfare of man. The sakhi comes to this world herself and constantly receives Radha rasa.
