Mathaji's Words |
|
Sri Radhika Prasad Maharaj, our respected Guru is God's blessing and oblation (Prasad) to us. Nanna garu is Sri Radha's sakhi whom we attained only to dispel our ignorance by lighting the lamp of knowledge in us and strive to make us move on the path that will lead us to the luminescence of Sri Radha rasa. The mahatma lived as one among us; he moved as our mother, father, son, guru, companion and friend. He instilled so many bhavas in our hearts and indeed made us blessed.

There was underlying Sri Radha rasa bhava in every word uttered y him. He is that devotee of rasa who taught to serve Mother through prayers and dhyana in such an implicit manner, which can be easily understood by scholars as well as the uneducated ones. He used to teach those people who never knew about dhyana in such a way that they developed an affinity towards dhyana. He repeatedly stressed that the only way to reach the abode of Mother (rasa) is through dhyana. For those who did not know about dhyana, he advised them to initially concentrate on the 'Mantra' and 'Goddess of the Mantra (Mother)' during dhyana. As he continues thus, owing to his inherent characteristics and attributes, the Mantra and the Goddess will soon cease to appear and he will obtain the touch of Sri Radha bhava. Nanna often said that due to incessant meditation in that bhava, Sri Radha will bestow divine plays (leelas) on the devotees.

In this third volume of 'Nanna Tho' (Our Association with Nanna), Rasamani created a garland of flowers of bhava by choosing and aptly arranging choosiest words of bhava uttered by Nanna. As I was reading the draft, those waves of bhava gave me immense joy. It implies that this book is filled with Radha rasa and will immerse the reader's heart in rasa.

I wish that more volumes of 'Our Association with Nanna' would follow.
