Anjani amma summarized Nanna's words thus: 'Radha is not form; Radha is bhava. Radha bhava is the life force of my life! She is not form. You are talking about form. You must call Mother with bhava.'

Gunarahitham, kamanarahitham - there are no desires or the three base gunas. It is only anukshana vardhamanam (increasing every moment). He weeps at 6 am; his weeping intensifies at 7 a.m.; he faints at 8 a.m. That is the increase in bhava every moment. That is love!

"
We must attain Mother's grace. One day, Mother was strolling in the garden with Her sakhis. On the way She said 'I can hear somebody weeping. Take me there.' They went and found a rose bud weeping. 'Why are you weeping? What do you want, my dear?' 'I am not blossoming into a flower since a long time. Unless I blossom, You will not accept me. I am still a tender bud. What can I do Mother? I don't know how to grow!' Mother placed Her hand on the bud. It became a flower within a minute. She plucked that flower and said 'I want this only.' She held the flower to her eyes and wept. That is Vraja bhava. What did you understand from this? Mother wept; the sakhis wept; the bud also wept.

Nanna's voice became emotional with bhava.

Before leaving the ashram and going to her husband's palace, Shakuntala wandered in the garden. She wept near a tree and told the bud 'I will come back soon.' What is this? This is vraja bhava. In Vraja, there is nothing like animate and inanimate, as found in this world. We cannot understand why Shakuntala wept like that. She imbibed the essence of Kanva Maharshi's love. Though he is a maharshi, he wept when she was leaving. She went back near him and said 'I cannot live if you weep like this. You are my mother and father.' That is vraja bhava!

That vraja bhava is known as Divine love! Vivekananda was very impressed by this love. He wrote 'I moved among mountains; I did penance in caves; I lived in forests but I never understood this love' and wept. One day, Ramesh Baba, a rasika devotee in Brindavan came to see me. Normally he does not go anywhere. That day, he felt like seeing me and came to our ashram. I was weeping at that time. He wanted to speak to me when I stopped weeping. He had some bhavas about Radha which he wanted to share with me. He also brought a book to note down some points I would tell him. He waited for two hours but I could not speak a word and he did not make any notes! He left after two hours. When he left, he was full of bhava and said 'I read that Ramakrishna used to hold Kali's idol and weep - Mother, why did you leave me? But I never understood that bhava. Today I saw that bhava here. I am sitting here since two hours. He did not speak a word. He is weeping continuously.'

Dhruvadasji was weeping for Mother. She reached there in the night. He fell on her feet and wept. 'Why are you weeping?' 'Mother, You are within me. I feel as if my heart will burst. Please come out.' She placed Her left foot on his head and he was transformed that very moment. What did She give through Her left Foot? What did he receive? What did he mean by Mother being within him and not coming up? That is vraja bhava!

Nanna told that vraja bhava is not only free from desires and the three gunas but also increases every moment. He is always in that divine state. No wonder he said

Ramakrishna held Kali's idol and wept. We do not want idol; we need bhava. Sakhi cannot live away from bhava roopa.

We all sat near Nanna on this Gurupoornima day when he would grant total ecstasy to those who were with him at that time. Though his physical frame wouldn't remain on earth by the next Gurupoornima, he would reach Radhaji with bhava deha. That was the last Gurupoornima we spent in his divine presence. He showered his blissful love equally on everyone. He granted eligibility to each one and gave them the experience of rasa.

I want to tell you about some bhavas. Mother is holding me; I am not holding Her. When She is holding me, I belong to Her and not to this world. Suppose I get married, some man enters my life from outside. He is an outsider to me. Just because he tied the nuptial knot, why should I have love for him? That is misplaced love. Where is your bhava? Who are you? Human beings do not even have the eligibility to stand near Her. Her world is bhava loka. Vivekananda wrote 'God lives in bhava loka. Without possessing bhava, nobody can attain God.' Everything in that world is related to bhava. This husband enters your life; his body is filled with the three gunas. They must be removed. Unless you are free from the three gunas and all desires, you cannot go near Her. The love that you will attain then will increase every moment. That is divine love! vey subtle (Sookshamatharam). It is infinitesimal, sub atomic and subtle. I am weeping for that subtle conscious form. Instead of weeping for such a Mother, we are satisfied with this outsider who entered our life with a physical body filled with desire and the three gunas. The only link with him is a thread around your neck tied by him, nothing else. Why are you weeping for that?

There are two obstacles - desire and gunas. Unless you lose them, you will not attain bhava. As long as we have this body which inherently contains them, how can they be removed? Our body is physical, mortal and earthly. Our world is made up of three gunas. There is no chance for you to reach Her as long as you have these gunas.

'Nanna, you once told that if we think 'I am never alone. I am with Mother only', the deha bhava will fade..' Sekhar said.
|
"
Yes. We must be in Her hold; we must remain with Her only all the time. You must see any object through Mother...
"

Nanna remained silent for a long time.
|
"
Krishna said 'I am showering my love in the three worlds. But who gives me love? Who gives me happiness?' He attains pleasure only of bhava loka. That is what we also need. That is not found here. The love on earth is filled with the trigunas. Ironically, the poets describe only the gunas of this love whereas they must be given up first. The pleasure of bhava loka can be understood only after you give up trigunas and kama. That happiness increases every moment. That is guna and kama rahitham - devoid of them. There is nothing, only vacuum. Can you ever imagine how that state would be?

'We are unable to comprehend, Nanna' Sekhar said.

To reach that state, every moment you must be in the bhava that 'I am in Mother's control. She is holding me.' You must see the world through Her. We are not seeing like that. We are seeing the world through our eyes and our desires. Isn't it?

That is the draw back. We lost bhava due to trigunas and kama and descended to this human world.
"

'Nanna, should we think that 'I am with Mother' or 'Mother is with me'?

"
I will tell you tomorrow whether Mother is holding you or you are holding Her.

"
What is the relationship between you and your husband? It is only in the mind; otherwise he has no right over you. You must always feel that you are with Mother. If you think that you are with your husband, you are wrong. When you are constantly with Her, Her grace will automatically be showered on you. You can go near Her to bhava loka only with bhava deha. You must understand that this is the path of bhava loka.

In one song, Nanna wrote that the Supreme Radhaji is the husband of everyone. The life associated with Her is the true life. We have created the relationships with our family. The link with Mother is permanent. Nanna is continuously striving to make us realize this truth. Nanna, you are our mother, father, Guru, God, Sovereign and our goal.

Who does not have trigunas and any desires?
"

'With the blessings of Mahatmas like you, we can be free of gunas and desires. This is my experience.'

Very good. Unless you are devoid of gunas and desires, you are not permitted to enter Radhaji's kingdom.

'That is not possible through sadhana. That state can be attained only by the grace of the saints and mahatmas.'
|
"
Even the saints cannot do anything. You may not be aware of this.

'You are a great saint.'
|
"
No, any saint cannot do this.
"
|
'Cannot the saint who possesses the grace of Radha Rani also do it?'
|
"
Only Radha Rani can do it. Many people are not aware of this. It is far beyond the reach of saint's blessings.

'Any living being is granted eligibility by Radharani. Krishna sees eligibility and non- eligibility. Radharani sees only eligibility. With the blessings of saints like you who are associated only with Radharani, we will certainly attain Her grace. We cannot attain Her grace in any other way.' (Nanna smiled.)

'We are going to Erode in Tamilnadu this evening.'

'We are displaying Sri leelas for eleven days.'

"
You are blessed. You are constantly displaying the leelas of Radha and Krishna.

'If you bless me, I will be blessed. If you give me the capability, I will be blessed. Otherwise, I am an ordinary man in Vraja, simply eating and sleeping.'

"
Can we arrange Raasa in this hall?
"
|
'This hall will be small for Rasa. Only 50 people will be able to sit in the hall after we arrange the stage.'
|
Nanna briefly spoke about the leelas he planned to organize.
|
'I want to stay in Brindavan only.'
|
"
Then why are you going to Erode?
"
|
'They invited us. You, who attained Radhaji's grace, invited us to enact Radhaji's leelas. We are fortunate to be associated with you. My mind is always near Radha Rani in Brindavan. They have invited me to Erode, I cannot refuse.'
|
"
You must give them Sri Radha injection! You must instill Radha bhava in Erode. Don't you have that injection?
"
|
'He has the injection; you must provide the medicine.' Anjani amma said
|
'Yes, I have the injection. You please give the medicine.'
|
"
I traveled all over India by virtue of my job as District Education Officer. I visited Erode too. One injection will not be enough. Even if you give ten injections to each person, it will not be enough. The people there are in that state. Go carefully.
"
|
'Nanna, there is no use of giving an empty syringe. If you fill it with medicine, he will give that injection to everybody. He wants you to provide the medicine', Anjani amma said.
|
'Nanna is not giving the medicine.'
|
'It is in the store.'
|
'The store is closed.'
|
Nanna laughed charmingly.
|
Only when man gives up trigunas and desires, his love for Radhaji increases every moment. Nanna planted this truth very firmly in our hearts. Human beings are devoid of rasa, more so in South India. That's why Nanna said that even ten injections (of Radha rasa) are not enough. However if we are associated with Mahatmas who attained Radhaji's grace, we can be freed from trigunas and desires. Once they are destroyed, we can attain Radhaji's grace. This is proved by Nanna's statement that 'you can reach Radhaji's feet only through sakhi'. We have not done and even cannot do such penance to reach Radhaji. We are fortunate to be showered by his love. We must take this divine opportunity and reach Her presence by Nanna's grace.

Nanna emphasized this fact through another song he granted on 5.9.06 to a devotee (Satyam) in Picket temple in Hyderabad.

We all sat around Nanna. Anjani amma sang one of his songs as he showered rasa on all of us present there.
|
'This song is based on the verse 'Anaradhya Radha padambhoja renum'. Suseelakka often says 'his life in Brindavan is reflected in the three stanzas of this song. Nanna is such a mahatma.' This song was written 40 years back. But she weeps whenever she listens to this song even today.' Anjani amma said.

'Amma, did you sing this song near Gyana Prasunamba?', Babu asked
|
'Yes. This incident happened on 12.12.1972. There were hundreds of people in the temple. I was standing in some corner. Suddenly, I pushed everybody and ran forward towards Her. I did not even realize what I was doing. I was not conscious of myself. When I went and stood in the front, She was laughing. Then I sang this song. When I completed the song, everyone paid their respects to me.'

'Did Nanna also come with you?'
|
'No, Nanna did not come. I went alone with my father. My father was not well. He wanted to visit that temple. When he recovered, we went to Kalahasti.'
|
'Did you meet Nanna by then?'
|
'Yes. I looked after my father for three months only. We are indebted towards our parents. I went to serve him and clear my debt. On 12.12.1972, I went to the temple and saw Mother. That time I started weeping and sang this song. I went in the afternoon and again in the evening. I sang this song all the three times. Though I saw Mother only once, I was weeping as I sang all the three time.'

'The bhava in Nanna's songs is excellent' Sakkubayakka said.

'Golden bhavas! Once when I went to Tirupati, I had a similar experience. After that experience , I stayed back near Nanna permanently.'

'Amma, what is the experience in Tirupati?'
|
'As soon as I went to Tirupati, I saw a three year old girl in the temple. The idol of Lord Venkateswara was not visible to me. In its place, I saw a little girl. I did not eat for four days due to bus travel. My father took me to Tirupati though I was crying to take me to Guntur. When we reached Tirupati, I saw this little girl, beautifully dressed and adorned. I did not sing any song but I could not speak a single word. I was weeping continuously. From there, we came to Kalahasti where I had this experience. Nanna became everything for me. I never left him after that.'

'Amma, She granted bhava as well as roopa darshan to you.'
|
'I don't know. Everything is Nanna's play only. There is a Bhadrakali temple in Warangal. You must go through a jungle to visit that temple. I would visit that temple every Sunday. When everybody cautioned me not to go alone, I would say 'I am not afraid. Lord Hanuman is with me.' Once Nanna and I went and prayed in that temple.'

'Amma, we heard that Nanna solved some problem there.'
|
'Yes, we went to rectify a rice mill that belonged to someone known to Nanna. I told Nanna that I would visit this temple in my childhood. We also offered prayers to Bhadrakali. By her grace, we saw Veerabhadra.'
|
Till this time, Nanna was reclining in his chair. Suddenly he sat upright and said

"
Mother's installation and birthday should be celebrated on the same day.
"
|
'It is said that no function should be held during that time (Dakshinayana). The people in Brindavan are also saying that.'
|
"
She gave a vision and told me to celebrate both together. Whether the work is complete or not, I will celebrate the function on that date.
"
|
'Let's see Nanna.'
|
"
Whether people attend or not, both should be celebrated together.
"
|
'Let's see.'
|
"
All the houses in Brindavan will not be enough. I am expecting 1000 people to attend the function. We must book rooms in advance.
"
|
Parameswar assured Nanna that he would provide rice to all the devotees who attend the function. Then Nanna told about the books he proposed to write.
|
"
These books must be translated into hindi. They must also contain what Krishna says about Radha.
"
|
Nanna heard Krishna's words read aloud to him:
|
She is much more than me.. The three worlds saw my divine form; felt very happy and are following me.'
My original nature is to move in the streets of Nikunj aspiring for the darshan of Sri Radha in the form of rasa.
|
As soon as Nanna heard this sentence, he went into bhava.
|

See what Krishna is saying! What a great message!

The divine music from my flute gives indefinable happiness to the living beings. But Sri Radha's nectarine words drown me in divine happiness.
|
"
Modify it slightly. It must imply that 'I don't receive any happiness from the music of this flute. When Mother comes near me and utters Kannayya, I am filled with happiness.
"
|
The divine fragrance of Sri Radha's form drowns me in inexplicable ocean of joy. The whole universe is filled with the sweetness of my Swaroopa. But I forget myself by the sweetness granted by Radhaji. My touch provides the coolness of innumerable moons. But Sri Radha's touch removes the heat of my heart.

That is Krishna's message to the world.

Nanna enjoyed listening to Krishna's words from Sri Chaitanya Charithamrutham and Adileela. He stated that whatever Krishna mentioned about Radha is his message to the world.

After a while Nanna spoke about the problem I was suffering due to astral effects.

'Nanna, did you mean that we must always be in veil of Mother's bhava?'
|
"
Yes. That is imaginary. Yet, it is the scientific way. You will have Her memory. To some extent, it will help you. You must feel the nearness of Mother. You must feel that She is near you. Then all other factors do not matter; your life will be smooth.
"
|
'Nanna, you are not Brahma's creation; you are Radha Rani's creation' Hymanand said.
|
"
I asked Mother when She will take me near Her. She said that I must wait because some more works must be done. When the time comes, no Brahma can stop me. It is Her will. She decides how long I will stay here, nobody else. She publicly stated this fact.
"

'We also want that only. We want you to remain in front of our eyes forever.' Babu said.

Convey this to Mother.
"

Nanna laughed.Babu Said'We don't have the power to tell Mother. We will tell you only. You remain with us and convey to Mother.'

If She waves Her finger, Brahma and other Gods will move back. If She summons Brahma, he will rush to Her. Kulapathi garu wrote a lovely, poetic thought. But I should not take advantage.

'Nanna,we like you to take advantage.'
|
'Nanna, that is advantage for us, not for you.'
|

All you decide..

'We all decided together and are asking you to request Mother on our behalf.'
|
"
So far She does not have any such idea. Why should we instill it now? She said that some work is still remaining. Let's see how long it will take!
There is link between Radhamahalaxmi Devi in the upper dham and me. She informs me about some important matters. She also told me one secret. I will tell you that now.

"
Dhyana should be incessant. Mother will certainly come there where there is incessant dhyana. That is why I am emphasizing that even if you forget the negative aspect, it is enough if you have the positive aspect. The effects of the astral world will not harm you as long as you have the positive aspect.

If you hold Mother firmly, you will not commit mistakes. Only penance! This is a great Universal Penance Centre.

"
In dhyana there must be only two - you and your deity. Before Badari Narayana sat down for dhyana, his consort Ramadevi was in corner of his heart. He told her 'Rama, during dhyana there must be only two - my deity and I. You are the third person. That must not happen. So you must leave my heart.' Only when she left, he could do dhyana. That's how Lakshmi Narayana became Badari Narayana. Lakshmi Devi came out of his heart and transformed into the bushes surrounding the hill where he did penance. You must understand that even Goddess Lakshmi was an obstacle in Lord Narayana's dhyana. In Gyana Prasunamba's presence, I handed over ---------- to Her and She accepted. That will have some power. A strict income tax officer had a health problem and needed to be operated. When everyone was crying somebody advised them to go to me and assured them that I would cure him without any operation. I did not even see his face. He came to me and said 'I seek your shelter. Please save me.' 'Don't worry. Mother will protect you. Within two days, you will be perfectly normal.' He was completely cured. When he confirmed that he could sit down normally without any problem, I said he did not need mantra anymore. As simple as that!

The power emanates from here and touches the person there. I am calling it mantra because people will not believe otherwise. Though I say I give mantra, I gave up all mantras long ago. Mother's mantra! That will create confidence in people. When I say I will give mantra, they are ready.

'Nanna, if it is not mantra, what do you do? Do you transmit waves of Mother's power?'
|
"
Except the power of vibrations, I have nothing else. No mantra; not even Mother. One who is associated with Mother only generates peculiar vibrations of Her power. Those vibrations search for that person, wherever he may be. For example, I did not even see the face of this man. I don't know whether he is at home or in hospital. I lie down and give mantra. The power will start from here and reach the place where he is suffering. It will go within him and purify him. He came to me when the doctors said there is no other option except operation.

Nanna, the Radhasakhi who came to earth only for the welfare of humanity never revealed his infinite and abundant powers. Though he tried to conceal them, they were revealed naturally when he used them to provide relief to the distressed people who came near him. Whether you call it sakthi mantra, sakthi vibration or anything else; it contains only Radhaji's love.

On 6.12.02 The Manager of Andhra Bank and his wife visited Nanna. Nanna explained about Radha mantra to them and later answered some of his questions about Radha:

You must listen to the nama (name) from within. Don't utter the name. If you want to do mantra, there is no need to recite the whole mantra. Just name is enough. Radhe Radhe Radhe Radhe. You must make a garland of Her name in your mind. That is tapasya. Only two letters are enough. 'Dwayaksharinama' - the two lettered name (Ra dha). It is a great penance. You must not utter with your lips. That is how you must do mantra. This was told by Krishna himself.

Who is Radha ?

Anadyoyam purusham eka evasthi

The Vedas say that a Purushottama existed since the beginning of creation. Nobody knows who he is. He is the Supreme who has neither beginning nor end. That is commencement of nature.

Tadekam roopam dwividha vidhaya sarvan rasan samaharathi
|
"
That one Supreme man desired to have leela. He did not relish being alone. He wanted to create leela for his enjoyment. That is the main cause for leelas. If you are alone in a room, won't you feel bored? Suppose you join some one.. That is the mentality. The Supreme man also wanted to enjoy through his leela. Your family life is a leela. When you attain marriageable age, your elders celebrate your marriage. That is the culture.

Within you, you wanted enjoyment. For that purpose you have become two. You have brought in a second identity. The Parama purusha made the resolution and he became the second one!

Swayameva nayyika roopam vidhaya
|
"
He is the male lead in the leela. He is alone! He needs the female lead character. From where will she come? She must come from within him! There is no other way. He mused 'Since there is nobody else, I will only become the female character.' So he became the female lead in the leelas!! Suppose you don't have a P.A., you will do that also yourself. What else will do you do when need demands? In the same way, the Supreme man became his own counter part (nayaki). Now, who is this Nayaki?

Tam Radham rasikanandam vedavidovadanthi

The scholars came and saw the divinity of his counterpart. They realized that She is infinite and all pervading. They called Her Radha. Radha means flow which has no end. According to Vedas, this is how Radha came into existence.

The Devi Bhagawata is an authoritative scripture written by Vedavyasa. It contains the following verse:

Radhnothi sakalan Kaman tasmat Radhethi keerthitaha
|
"
What is the difference between Radha and Krishna? When Radha makes a resolution, She will accomplish it somehow, whereas Krishna cannot. Krishna is behind Radha. She is sakthi; maha sakthi - super power! If She decides something, it will be done. She can accomplish anything. Nobody can oppose Her.

Brahmavaivartha ascertains this point with an example. King Daksha was performing a big yagya. Parvathi was one of his daughters. Normally, the daughters are present when their father performs yagya.
"
|
Nanna narrated the incident about Daksha yagya, Parvathi's insult and Shiva's vow. He said that neither Vishnu nor Krishna could pacify and calm down Shiva. Finally Krishna gave him Sri Radha mantra. Shiva practiced that divine mantra and had Her darshan.

Sada dwadasa varshiyam

Radha is eternally twelve years old. She is beyond time. She cannot grow older than 12 years. She will remain 12 years old now and forever. She came near Shiva in the form of a 1 year old girl and said 'I will give your wife back. In my kingdom, the vow of chastity prevails. I taught your wife to practice this vow.' Mother agreed to send his wife back on the condition that he accepts this vow too! That's why you don't find Shiva and Parvathi together in any temple. That is Radha! That Supreme power is Radha. Everybody reach Her after death. Radhaji's power is the highest.

So far, I have given an outline of Her radiant power and elevated state above other Gods. Radha is an important and integral part of our daily life and our spiritual life.

Why should we worship Radha?
|
"
There are innumerable Gods. The combined power of all the Gods is present in Radha. If you call our any God, She only will come! She is so powerful. Even Brahma does not possess some of the powers which She does. We need so many things in life. We cannot live in this world without Her grace. We should worship Her because She is all in all.

How can we attain Her grace?
|
"
The Vedas provide the answer to this question. She is 'Bhaktanugrahakatara' . She is always eagerly waiting to bestow Her grace and love on Her devotees. She is constantly watching whether somebody needs Her blessings. A mother weeps and searches for her missing child. In the same way, Radhaji wants all her children. You must take Mother's name or mantra. If you feel you do not want mantra because it is associated with sound, you can leave it. You can worship Her in silence. Such sages who worship in silence are known as muneeswaras. The great sage Atri and his wife Anasuya were muneeswaras. They had such immense powers that they attained the Trinity as their child!

How did Mother come down to earth?

She started from Her world as a three year old girl. She was not accompanied by anybody. As She passed all the worlds, the Gods worshipped Her with arthi. She descended in a flower in a pond located in Ravali village near Brindavan. I am worshipping that form of Hers as a three year old child. I got an idol of the little one is standing in a flower with 24 petals made of marble. This idol filled with fragrance will be installed in Brindavan ashram very soon.

I am here in front of you. She wants me to come to Kurnool with her and I agreed. This is a leela that happened before your eyes. Mother will take care. She is all pervading. She is in Kurnool also. I prayed to Her in my heart 'Mother, she is traveling alone.' Mother will take care of her. There will be no problem. Radhaji is all pervading. She came here just now to tell us this fact.

The Bank Manager came near Nanna for the first time and showed genuine interest to know about Radhaji. That is enough for Nanna. He never saw how many people were present near him. Even if only one person is present and he is genuinely interested to know about Mother, Nanna would explain in detail. He explained to them about Sri Radha with quotations from Vedas, about Radhasakhi and Radha leelas. Saying 'my life is a mystery' , he hinted how deep Radhaskhi's life is!
