We celebrated Nanna's birthday on 22nd July. Saying that he would give us a divine gift, he granted us sakhi tattwa and drowned all of us in rasa during 22nd to 24th July.
|
On 24th morning, we all worshipped Radha Devi and Nanna. In the evening, we worshipped our guru, Nanna. He granted his divine presence to his devotees during 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Babu said that each one of us would speak about Nanna for 10 minutes. Nanna smiled and agreed. He listened attentively to what each one spoke. One devotee, Subbannayya even sang songs on Nanna. Finally, when Anjani amma spoke about him with bhava, Nanna began to weep.

He transformed the whole atmosphere. He instilled love within everyone. We were fortunate to speak in the presence of Radhaji manifested in our Nanna. We don't want anything else Nanna. You are a partner in Sri Radha rasa. You filled this world with rasa through your loving glance. We are indeed blessed.

Later Nanna spoke to us:

You expressed your bhava about me. I heard and am pleased. Now I also would like to say a few words. These words may not give you any tangible, materialistic gains. You may not earn even a rupee with these words. But they contain everything possible. Mother provided me the fortune of learning about Her in detail. This actually happened to me, so you all must learn the lesson.

One afternoon I was writing a book on mother in Guntur ashram. It was peak summer and I was sweating profusely. At that time a person came to see me. Seeing me writing in that condition he said 'why don't you write tomorrow morning when it will be more pleasant?' I replied 'Mother's order is equal to my life. She instructed me to write this book. I must complete this before sunrise. I will not eat till I complete the book. Serving Mother is only my food and sleep.' He got an AC fitted in the room the same night! Then only I realized that the all pervading, compassionate Radhaji is inspiring people in this way. She is watching us all the time. She is all pervading; She is near everyone all the time. This is the great secret! We are unable to realize that She is with us. She is inspiring some person to do a particular work. Mother is moving with us unobtrusively. She is full of mercy and looks after us like Her children. This is what I realized. She is everywhere. Never think that there is no one for you. She is looking after my welfare every moment and taking care of my needs. I learnt one lesson in life. Do not ask anybody for any thing either for yourself or even for Mother's occasions. I took an oath not to stretch my hand before any body. She will take care of everything, even big events. We must manage within what She gives us. I shall not ask any human being, God or even Mother! The all pervading, all knowing Mother is blessing us with Her infinite grace. Then where is the need to ask some body for some thing?

The expenditure involved in the work that I have taken up (construction work in Brindavan ashram) is around Rs 5-6 lakhs. I did not ask anybody for money even for such an expensive job. Then from where is the money flowing? I don't know. I never ask; money comes somehow. I never feel that I don't have money. It will be arranged somehow if required. Such a Mother is around you, near you, with you and within you. Then why do need to ask anybody else? Why should you bow before somebody? This point must be understood clearly.

When I working as District Education Officer, a little girl came near me and said 'you are in government service. When will you come into my service?' I realized She was Mother. She gave me some inner strength through Her words. I put down the pen with which I made thousands of signatures each day. 'Mother, I am in Your service from this very moment. In this life and all future lives, I belong to You only. I left the pen without even asking anyone. Today things are moving smoothly. Money comes from some source or other. You also will have a similar experience some day. All of you must depend only on Her. Move closer to Her with love and surrender to Her. Be in the bhava that 'Mother, I am your child. I don't ask anybody for anything. You are there to look after me and give me whatever I need.' That day I composed a song on self surrender. I am sharing with you whatever I experienced.

Which is the correct path to reach Mother? There is no path greater and more significant than self surrender and which provides such immense happiness. You must follow this path only.
"

Devi bhavame..yenchi

"
Mother is always with me. My duty is to do what ever She desires; whatever gives her happiness. I came to this world only to do as She wishes. I have no individual likes or pleasures. I gave up everything in life. I don't need anything. I took a vow that I shall live in such a way that Mother is pleased.

"
Unless you are constantly contemplating on Mother day and night, it is not self surrender. Nobody has the power to surrender themselves on their own. You must always be in Her thoughts. Then She will grant you self surrender. That is a great siddhi, power.

"
When I was in Brindavan, one of my disciples in Guntur met a sorcerer who promised to show Mother in 15 days. The disciple believed him and planned to accept his mantra. Then he heard my voice 'don't accept him as your guru. Leave him and come to Brindavan at once.' At that time I was in Brindavan, 1200 miles away from him. Then how did he hear my voice? He left that guru and prospered in life. This clearly shows that Mother only speaks in your voice.

"
One day Anjani amma was suffering from severe head ache. It was past mid night. She did not want to disturb me in my sleep. Slowly she placed my hand on her head and the pain vanished immediately. What does this mean? Mother is within my body. If you are engaged only in Mother's thoughts (smarana) incessantly, Her power will enter your body.

The life of a person who surrenders to Her will move smoothly. I have no money; infact I don't need money. I don't want anything or anybody. I want only Mother. You must live with the confidence that it is enough if I have Mother with me.

Mother is not present in temples, pilgrimages or holy rivers only . She is present in the heart of the person who surrenders to Her. There are so many examples to prove this in the form of a bulky book.
"

"
Several people come here. They bathe in all the rivers. I did not take bath in the river. I did not visit any temple. All my temples are here; all my dips in the holy river are here only. Self surrender has such tremendous power.
"

"
This is my message. Live with the bhava that Mother is with me only. She is nowhere else; She is always with me. Don't give in to any body. Don't ask anybody for favors. Don't seek anybody's help.. She will give us everything. There are millions of instances to prove this I request you not to leave such a Mother. This is message given by my life.
"

Nanna was weeping with bhava. This was the last Gurupoornima which we spent with Nanna. He gave an opportunity to every one who came near him to say a few words and listened carefully. With infinite love and kindness, he gave his divine message. Saying 'I will tell you only what I learnt' he showed us the path of self surrender. He declared 'that is why I came to this world. I don't need money. I want Mother. She will give me what I need. This is the extra ordinary power of self surrender. This is my message'.

Nanna vowed not to ask anyone for anything, not even Radhaji. Then how are the works worth lakhs of rupees being carried out? Nanna says 'I don't know. It is Her leela.' Even after he withdrew from his physical form, the gamut of his leelas enhanced multi-fold. His words that 'I will be more powerful in my cosmic form' are being proved time and again. The construction work in Brindavan ashram is indeed astonishing. In the present world, where people want acknowledgement and propaganda for every penny they spend, a few staunch devotees of Nanna who contributed for this service of Radhaji wanted their identity to be discreet. In this way, Nanna granted us the fortune of witnessing Her leela.

May Nanna's loving words that 'I request you not to ever leave such a Mother; this is the message given by my life' always shine in us.
