EXPERIENCE IS EVIDENCE

Nanna's conversations always focussed only on Radhaji. During 2000, conversation with Nanna was thus:

" Mother was born five thousand years ago. When we asked for Her picture of that time, She granted us the same. You cannot find such a miracle anywhere else on earth. She told me and the artist to close our eyes. A bring light flashed before us. He said that he could draw Mother's picture as shown by Her. "

Anjani amma told that Shri Jha would get a life size photo of Mother and give it to the sculptor in Jaipur. He would give final touches to Ravali amma's marble idol which Nanna planned to install in Brindavan ashram. Speaking about me presenting a paper on Rahdaji in University Seminar, Nanna suggested that I should read the book written by Avadhilal Biharji on 'Rasopasana'. Nanna commented that the beginning was unique as it said that we don't need God! This was quoted in the third volume of Brindavaneswari Sri Radha Devi.

Some devotees came to see Nanna. They were upset that he could not recognise them.

" I am forgetting everything. May be this is Mother's will. Unless I forget this (world), her light will not shine on me. Only when this thought goes, Her grace will appear. She will wipe off, the worldly impressions and print the divine ones. "

They requested him to speak something about Mother.

" Kulachandra, a great and mighty king lived near Radhakund. He ruled when the Muslims left and the British ruled India. He defeated the Britishers many times. They knew they cannot defeat him in war and planned differently. 'He is Radhaji's devotee." She is fond of cows. If we tie the cows before our soldiers he cannot kill them because he will certainly not harm the cows. "

" As planned, they tied the cows in front of their soldiers. The king's army was confused. 'Oh King! We can easily kill their soldiers but the cows will also die. Mother will be very angry by this act. What should we do?' 'Right. We cannot fight without killing the cows. If I have to kill the cows, it does not matter whether I win or lose the war. Even if I lose my kingdom, my body and all worldly possessions, I will not do anything which will displease or hurt Mother. So I will surrender myself. Don't shoot at them. It is better to surrender and save the cows.' He raised his hands and accepted defeat. "

" The Britishers took him along with them but did not handcuff him. By that time, Mother changed their mind and thoughts. She did not want him to wage war; She wanted him to give up his kingdom and do penance. That is why She created that situation. The British Commander- in -Chief did not like to make Kulachandra stand. He stood up and offered his royal seat to him. Having shown such respect he said 'Oh King! You are a great devotee. We took advantage of your devotion and defeated you by cheating. We want to construct two buildings for you wherever you want so that you can worship Radhaji.' He told them to construct the buildings on the banks of Radhakund. Later, they took him away on a horse. They gave him so much respect. The two bungalows built one for Radhaji's worship and the other for his stay are present even today on the banks of Radhakund. "

" Though he lost his kingdom and faced humiliation, he decided not to do such an act that would hurt Mother. The kings were so fond of Mother. They placed Her before everything. "

" While I was working as DEO (District Education Officer) I was given the additional responsibility of a second district. I was actually in control of two districts. At that time Radhaji came near me as a nine year old girl. What brightness! What aura! She was wearing all golden ornaments. 'Who are you my child?' She asked "When will you come into my service?' She specifically mentioned 'my service' and She was wearing the ornament 'Chandrika' on Her forehead. That is not worn by anybody else except Her. I realised the Mother Herself came. I stood up from my chair and prostrated before Her. As soon as I bowed down before Her, She disappeared. I put down my pen, 'I will not continue my job hereafter. I will not earn money. When Mother has instructed me, I don't want this job anymore.' I simply quit my job and left that place. "

Nanna told how Kulachandra gave up his ego and attachments for Mother's sake. Then he told how he gave up his job as soon as Mother asked him to come into Her service. He also did not have ego or attachments. He had two more years of service. No bank balance and 7-8 persons to feed! Yet, without a second thought he surrendered to Her. Mother only guided his life and filled it with yoga and rasa.

The pious lives of all Mother's devotees-gulab Baba, Kulachandra, Rehman or Nanna seems the same. These Mahatmas do not think of anything except Mother's happiness!

Nanna commented on excerpts from the 7th Volume of Brindavaneswari Sri Radha Devi.

" Lalithamohiniji's life was spent in serving his guru and with Sri Shyama Shyam's leelas. Even after his guru left the mortal frame and attained nikunj; he continued to serve his guru in his mind. Satisfied by his service, Sri Radha and Krishna gave him their darshan. Later he constructed Sri Radhika Biharji temple in Brindavan. He followed one principle. He distributed everything which his devotees brought the same day to everybody present there. Nothing remained the next day. "

We then spoke about nanna's songs. Sekhar said hat 58 songs are known, there could be some more which we do not know. Immediately, Nanna said

" 'Yes, there are some two or three songs more' 'Na prana pranama' could be Nanna's 59th song. "

" When I was in the forest for five years, I learnt horse riding. If I want, I can learn car driving in 10 days. "

" I was the head of two districts at that time. When I was sitting this same chair, a bring light appeared. 'Who are you?' 'When will you come into my service?' Only Mother can speak so authoritatively. I threw the pen down. I never used the pen for official purpose since that moment. "

Anjani Amma narrated a typical incident. 'Nanna went to a village called Alluru near Nellore district. You had to travel in a bullock cart from the railway station to that village. A lady devotee who invited Nanna to their village sent a bullock cart to the station. She arranged mattresses and pillows in the cart for Nanna's comfort. Around 200 people came along with Nanna. He stayed back and sent them in batches to the bullock cart. When she saw them getting down instead of Nanna, she shouted at all of them. Nanna went last. By that time she arranged food for everybody. She prepared the items to be served for Nanna separately. As it was getting late, she made arrangements to serve the devotees who came along with Nanna. Finally he arrived. She was so thrilled with joy. She sat down to serve Nanna personally. In her highly excited state, she served idlis with oil instead of the ghee that she made especially for him. He gave her one piece as her offering. To her dismay, She realised that she served idli for Nanna with oil. She began to shout 'I served all of your with ghee and my poor, dear child with oil.' She was upset.

She was upset.

Another devotee Alluri Kamamma came to meet Nanna at some function. 'My child, will you celebrate Her function in our village also?'

" Definitely. Will you serve curd to everybody?' "

'I promise to serve curd to everybody who attends the function in our village.' Nanna went along with 600 people and celebrated Mother's function grandly. She was a simple lady who donated all her gold ornaments to the temple. They had acres of land under cultivation. She looked after all the day to day activities. Her husband was a silent spectator. When Nanna and his devotees went there, she served thick and sweet curd to each and every one in sumptuous quantity. 'How is the curd, my child?'

" First class."

As Anjani amma was narrating these incidents, Nanna went into bhava. Amma said 'the body gains heat in a state of bhava. I am feeling cold and his feeling hot.' I asked him whether Mother came near him just now.

" Why did you ask whether Mother came? "

'Nanna, you look like that.'

" I feel like weeping even without my knowledge. I was in the bhava that it is getting delayed for me to go near Her and serve Her. "

Speaking about Radhamahalaxmi amma, he said,

" That couple adopted me looked after me like their child and gave me this building. I did not like to take it for me so I changed it into an ashram. I don't need anything..... "

Suddenly Nanna began his speech.

" Yatho Vacho--------------- the Vedas gave an answer to our doubts. You cannot understand the divine form either by words or your mind. It is very difficult. The eye cannot see from outside. Nobody can see. Even Vedas could not see...I must live alone with my Divine Mother. "

" God is all pervading. If you do not have the all pervading bhava, you are not a devotee of God. Today many people claim to be God. They do not know anything. They are frauds. Why don't we have the cosmic sight? Why don't we have that cosmic sight by which we can be aware of Mother's presence? Why does our mind wander when we begin to contemplate of Her? We must understand the reasons clearly. Most of the devotees who come near me often ask these questions. If you know why the mind wonders when you sit down to contemplate on Mother, you can rectify yourself within five days. "

" The human mind is like a mirror. If you think about any materialistic object seriously, it forms an impression on the mind. In this way, many impressions are formed on the mind. When you recall something, it means that the impression is being refreshed. All the incidents since childhood are imprinted on the mind. Otherwise, how can you remember what happened in the past? The plain mirror like mind is filled with so many impressions. Today morning, somebody came to see me. That will form an impression if I contemplate on it too much. If I listen and forget, it will not form an impression. If you maintain a passive bhava, impressions will not form on the mind. If you do not remain passive, if you associate too much with anybody, impressions are bound to be formed on your mind. They fill the mind to such an extent that you cannot see anybody properly. The impressions must be erased. We cannot do that by ourselves. There is only one universal way of erasing impressions, the greatest path ever. "

" As the impressions reduce, your vision becomes clearer. You will become nearer to Radhaji. The thought that Radhaji is with us becomes more intense. Now Radhaji became an entity for me. She is not a form; that is known as Radha bhava. Bhava is different, form is different. Radha's form is danger; Radha bhava will take us higher. So you must lose Radha roopa (form) an attain Radha bhava because bhava has no impressions. When you attain Radha bhava, the impressions are in the form of bhava. We have a bhava body inside this earthly body. The person in this prakriti body will born again, with prakriti body. There are no prakriti impressions in bhava deha. We have no idea about bhava; that is why we fall, and are unable to go higher. "

" The person is whom bhava deha is well formed are known as Rasika devotees or Rasikacharyas. That is Radha's rasa. When even a little impression is formed on bhava deha, you weep for Mother. When they hear about Mother, they cannot stop weeping. They are in bhava most of the time. They develop passiveness towards the world. You also must remain passive towards the world and yearn for Mother. 'I am Radha. I am Mother.' Gradually this will become a bhava. An impression of bhava loka is formed and pulls you towards Her. That is bhava! The impression in the world of bhava is known as bhava. When you attain that bhava, thinking of Mother's name will make you weep. Bhava is Mother's form. Even in formlessness, bhava will touch you and remain like that. I reached that state. You must get the feeling of nearness with Her. 'The formless Mother is watching me.' Generally, you may not feel nearness in formlessness. But you must attain that state; it will come. When the materialistic (prakriti) impressions reduce and Radha bhava impressions are formed, you will love everybody. "

" I am always in Mother's sight. One who is in dhyana yoga for a prolonged period is a dhyana yogi. Dhyana is the link between Mother and us. You must be in solitude. When you are lonely, Mother's sight is more powerful. Mother is here this moment. As the thought that 'I am in Mother's sight' become more intense, Mother's impression is formed. As you develop the feeling that 'Mother is watching me' more and more, you will not have any other thoughts and impressions will not form on your mind. "

Thus Nanna explained about bhava deha and how to erase the impressions formed on the mind. Nanna often said that sakhi bhava which is the root of rasopasana is unique as it does not desire any self-happiness. 'I am a rasopasaka. Rasa is my deity in worship.' He granted us the fortune of seeing 'Tatsukhena sukhitwam'-'Your happiness is my happiness' in him. The sakhi bhava in him drew so many people towards him right from childhood. People became mesmerised by his love. Incident in Nellore and Alluru are just a few. Like Kamammagaru, many ladies saw their child in him.

'Mother said that you can attain Her only through dhyana.' Even Radha sakhi also can be attained only through dhyana. In 1990, a devotee from Radha Krishna temple in Secunderabad (suseelakka) went to Brindavan. When she reached there, she saw that Nanna already left for Guntur. She was very upset. That night, many devotees sat for dhyaana in Nanna's room. Very soon, Nanna gave her darshan, sitting in his chari. 'As I watched a four year old girl wearing wonderful dress and ornaments came near Nanna. She placed Her little feet on his feet, held his hands with Her small hands, climbed on to his stomach and stood there. Nanna laughed at Her happily.' She opened her eyes and said 'Who said Nanna is not here? He is very much present here.' She is indeed blessed!

Nanna is very happy when we do dhyana. Always in the state of dhyana, he loved each and every one. His loving aim is to uplift everybody through dhyana.

On 08-08-2003, Nanna was dictating a reply to the letter sent from Macherla by a devotee, sitamahalaxmi garu.

" My dear Mother sita Mahalaxmi, this is your son Radhika Prasad. Mother, I read your loving letter. My first request to you: Whether troubles you face in the world, don't get perturbed; remain passive. You know what state Jada Bharata came to by getting attached to a little deer. So do not become attached to any object in this world. Second point: Develop attachment and yearning towards Brindavan Radha! The Vedas said that Krishna worships Radha; he is our follower. She became Radha because Krishna worships Her. When he also worships Her, there is no deity higher than Her! I am not saying what I read in books or heard from great persons. My self-experience is my evidence. Third point: 'Karmanam bhogatho nasyeth'. Even King Parikshit could not escape from experiencing his karma. Radhaji pushed aside even such a strict rule. 'When a jeeva does incessant dhyana on Me, his karmas will disappear without any other sadhana.' As per my prarabha karma, my life span is 52 years only. Even astrology predicted 52 years. That means the karma Gods decided my life span to be 52 years. Because I did incessant Radha dhyana, the life span decided by my karma gods did not hold good. How I am 103 years old. I am healthy and energetic. "

" I consider you as my mother. That is why I wish to tell you that under any circumstances, it is desirable to worship the Supreme Radha. 'Krishnasthu Bhagawan swayam'. Srimad Bhagawata mentions that God came down to earth as a complete God in the form of the two shouldered Krishna. The Lord of all Gods also desires Rasa. Mother gave the authority of distributing rasa in the whole world to Her sakhis. Mother only is the Sovereign of rasa. However, Her sakhis are entitled to distribute rasa. "

" Always remember this son, "

" Your Radhika Prasad. "

Sitamahalaxmi garu is lucky. Not only did he consider her as his mother, but also informed many things from his experience. The three main points of his letter; Remain passive towards the world. Develop attachment towards Radhaji; those who do incessant Sri Radha dhyana will lose their karmas. This is his loving message.

Radha gave Her sakhis the authority to distribute rasa. Nanna, the Radhasakhi gave rasa through every alphabet of his letter.

'Oh benevolent Radha! Even in my dreams, I never wished for gold and jewels, I want only our sweet love. Please grant me your love.'
