-RaSri Radhasudhanidhi Verse 82

The 82nd Verse of Sri Radhasudhanidhi describes those gifted ones who have understood the depth of bhava and have love only for Sri Radha thus:

Whether or not they (Gurus) reflect what is stated in the Holy Scriptures in their actions and they wear a garland or not, they are eternally immersed in the deep, wonderful and exquisite bliss of Rasa. Therefore, their mind is firm and steady even when they are among hypocrites and deceptive people.

This divine book is about Radhasakhi who is proficient in the undisclosed secrets of bhava - 'Bhava Rahasya Paragamati'

Rasa loka occupies the highest state, above Vedas, above all other religious scriptures and even higher lokas of all Gods. Radha Mahadevi is the Sovereign of this Rasa loka. Sri Krishna who is Sacchitananda and Poorna Purushottama (Provider of happiness and the fully accomplished one) worships the Ruler of all worlds. Radhaji accepts the Sakhis as Her equal and seemingly remains under their spell only because they are dedicated to Her. Sri Krishna also respects Mother's sakhis. That is the status of Radhasakhi!

Radhasakhi, who knows none other than Mother and has totally surrendered to Her, has 'oneness' with Radha Devi in appearance, beauty and qualities. The sakhi's status cannot be comprehended unless she is seen with bhava. It is impossible for ordinary mortals to understand the 'Rasa Vaichitri' (amazing facets of Rasa), 'Sakhi Lakshan' (qualities of sakhi) and 'Bhava Teevrata' (intensity of bhava). Radhasakhi tattva can be understood only when Sakhi bhava awakens in you.

Our Nanna' is the Radhasakhi who is in such a Divine state. As Sri Rallabandi Veerabhadra Rao, he occupied many posts in the education department and attained the post of 'Radhasakhi' in the supernatural Education Department as Radhika Prasad Maharaj. Mother granted him this divine position due to Niravadhika Radha Dhyana (incessant Radha dhyana), Ananya Nishta (single pointed devotion) and Sarvatra Sarvesvari darsanam (seeing only Mother everywhere). She accepted him as Her intimate, singular, confidential Sakhi. He is the attribute of Sri Radha's nectarine love. Several divine incidents have occurred in the life of this Rasa Yogi indicating that he is the embodiment of Sri Radha. I request Nanna, the loving one, to present the few incidents in his life which we could know only by his grace in the Volumes of this book 'Nanna Tho (Our Association with Nanna).

Though he granted 'Mantra deeksha' to many, Nanna always stressed on performing dhyana. "Dhyana Atmani Pasyante"……….. He always quoted the sentence from Geeta which says that you can attain darshan only through dhyana and emphasized that dhyana must be performed incessantly. In the 1st volume of "Our Association with Nanna", we have seen that he stressed on dhyana and also made this path so easy for us! In the 2nd Volume, we shall discuss another step, which is above the path of Dhyana. However, Nanna did not spell out this step very explicitly. In fact he said "I will not tell you about the fourth step of Radha Tattva now. I will never reveal about it". Yet our loving Nanna thought "Let me hand it over to them in this way" and referred to this aspect during his talk without us being aware of it. Thus very subtly, without actually stating it, he told us about the most prominent state in 'Rasopasana' (practice of Rasa). In this volume, I have reproduced verbatim whatever he said in his talks. The rest (connotation and understanding) is his grace and our fortune!

On 24.7.2002, speaking on the occasion of Guru Poornima in Brindavan he said 'You have expressed your feelings about me. I have listened and I am pleased. Yet I must say a few words about you all. Please listen to me attentively. My words will not fetch you any job. You will not be able to earn even a rupee. They will not help you from the materialistic angle. Yet, everything is contained in these words. Mother provided me the good fortune to learn about Her in detail. I practically experienced this. All of you should learn from my experience. Someone inspires all the works being done by me. Mother is invisible. I have realized that She is extremely benevolent.'

Probably in 2002, an elderly person residing in Guntur came to meet Nanna. As soon as he came he said 'you have become aged. It is doubtful how long you will live. We have arranged spiritual programmes for one week. You may come for a day. It is enough for you to just sit there; you need not even speak anything'. Nanna replied very calmly.

" My son, I spend all my time in this room waiting for three dignitaries: First - devotees who ask me to tell them about Mother Second- My satguru Kanakamma, who granted me Sri Radha Mantra Third - My Ruler, my Sovereign - The Supreme Sri Radha All the three of them often visit this place. Therefore, I will not come anywhere leaving this room "

That man returned back silently. All kinds of people came to Nanna - some who speak in a hurting manner, some who behave disrespectfully and some who come with devotion. He remained passive to all and talked to everyone in the same loving and kind manner.

Every inch of this worldly body is filled with 'Rajoguna'. But Nanna attained 'Bhava deha' even while he possessed 'Prakriti deha'. That is why Sri Radha's prem ras is visible in every iota of his divine body.

Once a 20-year-old boy came to Nanna and greeted him with respect. When Nanna asked what he wanted, he replied, "Please grant me devotion towards Radha and Krishna". With eyes filled with tears, Nanna lifted both hands and blessed him. Very rarely do such people come to him.

I cannot give a scientific reasoning for Nanna selecting a 'butterfly' as his representative. But this is proved to be true from various incidents and divine plays, which his devotees experienced. This fact can be realized and accepted only with the heart by bhava and not by intellectual thinking.

Some people suggested that the English words and sentences in the 1st volume might be translated in Telugu. However, we wanted the power in the words and sentences uttered by him to reach you as such, so I am continuing in the same way. As in the 1st Volume, I am quoting a few verses from "Sri Radharasamadhuri" by Malathi. This book also begins with her verse in Sanskrit. This is a boon gifted to her by Nanna.

I cannot express the cooperation and support given by Sekhar. It is through him that I gained some insight about Nanna. Like for the first volume, Sriranga provided the cassettes for recording the talks that have been reproduced in this volume. Nanna gave a young devotee the golden opportunity to print this divine book. I pray to Radha Mahadevi to grant all of them the experience of Sakhi bhava.

It is my moral responsibility to mention about the group of devotees from S. Kota who are very dear to Nanna. On 3rd, 4th and 5th of August 2004, Nanna's Aradhana celebrations were held in Brindavan. They sang Sri Radha Nama Sankeertan from 6.30 A.M. on 4.8.2004 till 6.30 A.M. on 5.8.2004. At midnight on 4th, the Sankeertan attained a peak. Gradually nama (name) was transformed into Nadam (tune), which dissolved into ecstatic bliss. The state of Dhyana that Nanna mentioned was attained. No wonder he was so fond of his devotees from S.Kota.

Every word of this book was either spoken by or prompted by Nanna. He is the resolution, determination, power, energy, and strength - in fact everything to write this Divine book on Sri Radhasakhi.

On 26.7.2002, in Brindavan, Nanna granted me a blessing without asking- "Not only in this world but any world that you are in, I will always be behind you". Nanna is my wealth, my fortune, everything. He is my Prana Sakhi, my life.
