Circumambulation Of Sri Nikunj

Nanna attained several supernatural powers due to constant meditation on Sri Radha. The most significant of those powers is the ability of Nanna to visit Rasa dham whenever he wishes. On 11.12.2001 Nanna visited SriNikunj, the abode of Sri Radha in the cosmic form. When I met him the next day, i.e, on 12.12.01 morning, he narrated the divine experience in detail.

" The whole of yesterday I was sleeping. I did not drink even a drop of water. At 7.00 p.m, I opened my eyes and asked for a doctor to be called. The doctor came and examined me. He said that I am perfectly all right. I knew that. But I wanted the doctor to confirm the same. "

“Nanna, why did you sleep without food or water the whole day?” I asked.

" I went to Srinikunj as a Sakhi. In that state this body does not exist. Sakhi’s body is Bhav deha. That Bhav is called transcendental Bhav. Mother sent another Sakhi along with me for Srinikunj parikrama (circumambulation of Srinikunj). While experiencing the bliss of witnessing Srinikunj I strongly felt ‘Why should I live on the earth? I must stay in this world of Ras from this very moment.’ "

“Could you complete the parikrama, Nanna?” I asked.

" No. It is not possible to complete it at a stretch. It will take a very long time. I hardly traveled 10 yards from where I started. It is difficult to describe what exist there. We are ecstatic under the spell of the music there. So many kinds of music! It is not ordinary music. "

"Nanna, while doing the parikrama, did any divine rays of Mother in Nikunj….”

" Mother is inside. Mother is outside. Mother’s consciousness is present even in the plants there. We don’t consider them as plants. We talk to them. Sometime back, I told you about a bud. How a bud can talk? There is only consciousness. Supreme consciousness! Here (on earth) there no consciousness at all. Everything is inert (still). That is pure consciousness. There is nothing that is devoid of consciousness there. "

Nanna, is the consciousness which is shining in the trees, plants and flowers the formless manifestation of the Mother?

" A tree is not a tree. It looks like a tree this moment. Next moment it appears like Divine Mother. It is not Mother but a tree; not a tree but a bud; not a bud but Mother! What could you understand? That is bhavloka! That music attracted me a lot. I don’t know what that music is and what those tunes are? "

Anjani Amma asked: ‘Nanna, please hum that tune a little.

Nanna said,

" That is not a raga. I don’t know what it is, who it is….(pause) No, I cannot sing that. I heard the music from far away. It was as if somebody is weeping….I am not sure whether it is singing or weeping! How can I tell? Those who hear it will feel like weeping. It is not weeping but singing, not singing but weeping. Actually it is not either of these, it is Bhav. "

" I did not drink water the entire day. The doctor asked whether I was not feeling weak. I had neither weakness nor headache. I told him that I was perfect. He tested my heart and said I was fine. "

" Regarding the first volume (Brindavaneswari Sri Radha) someone said – Let the style be hers. Mother wanted the thoughts to remain as such "

“Yes Nanna”, I agreed.

" There are two aspects in the book, style and thoughts. You can adopt your style but retain the bhavas as they are. I don’t even know what I have written and what those thoughts were "

Nanna, initially you wrote about ‘Yugala leelas – the divine plays of the dual couple.

" She told not to disturb the ideas and thoughts. However, she told you to change the style. "

Anjani Amma again requested Nanna to sing that tune.

" I do not know whether it is singing or weeping. How can I tell you? Oh! That is why Sage Narada once said ‘ I can visit any Dham but cannot set my foot in Radha dham. I do not have that capacity. "

" I could not see Mother. She is not there. Again everyone is Mother. Mother is not seen but is present“. Saying so, Nanna went into deep dhyana. "

Ah! Nikunj dham is the dham glittering with the effulgence of the holy feet of Sri Radha , that dham that is not attainable even to great sages like Suka, Narada or Bheeshma. Narada, who frequently visits the three worlds said that he has no entry into this dham. Even Lord Krishna cannot enter there unless he takes the form of a Sakhi. Our Nanna has visited such a dham, witnessed the resplendent formlessness of Mother and heard the heavenly melodious and blissful music. Though he felt like staying back there right from that moment, he came back for our sake.

Seeing the Radha sakhi’s (Nanna’s) selfless and pure love for mankind, I feel that there is no limit to his love, affection and kindness.

Nanna, my attempt to convert your love into words is very feeble. That is why you often said, “Don’t express love in words, it gets diluted. It should always be flowing within you”
